cangxue.org is a personal domain owned by Robert Tan, an individual (sole proprietor). It hosts a static home page, the email address, and the text-message number of Song-Jiang, a personal AI assistant that Robert runs on his own hardware. Nothing on this domain is sold; the assistant's text messages go only to people who have opted in.

Google account access

The "Song-Jiang" Google Cloud application exists so that Robert's own assistant can work with Robert's own Google account. It is a private, single-user application:

• The only Google account it is ever authorised against is Robert's.
• Scopes in use: Google Calendar (read/write), Gmail (read and send only — no deletion, no settings changes), Google Drive, and Google Sheets. Scopes are granted explicitly by Robert at consent time and can be narrowed or revoked at any time.
• OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on Robert's own computer. They are not transmitted to, or stored on, any third-party server.
• Data is read or written only in response to Robert's own requests to his assistant. It is not sold, shared, used for advertising, or used to train models.
• Email is never sent on Robert's behalf without his explicit instruction for that message.

Use of Google user data by this application complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This website

The site is static and sets no cookies of its own. It is served through Cloudflare, which may log requests for security and performance purposes under Cloudflare's privacy policy. No analytics scripts are used.

Email

Mail sent to addresses at cangxue.org is delivered to Robert's own mailboxes and may be read by his assistant. It is not shared with third parties.

Text messages (SMS)

Robert Tan (Song-Jiang assistant) sends text messages from +1 (949) 822-8411 to subscribers who opted in by texting START to that number. The messages are account notifications and conversational messages: reminders and calendar alerts the subscriber asked for, updates on tasks and messages the assistant is handling for them, and replies to texts they send. The program is described in full in the SMS Terms & Conditions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.

Information collected. The mobile number you texted from, the date and time you opted in, the content of messages you send and receive, and delivery metadata such as timestamps and delivery status. This information is used only to deliver the program and reply to you. It is stored on Robert's own computer and in his Twilio account's message logs.

Service providers. Twilio transmits the messages under Twilio's privacy policy. The AI model provider that powers the assistant (Anthropic) processes the text of messages in order to generate the assistant's replies, and for no other purpose.

Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties; the messaging provider processes them solely to deliver the messages. Phone numbers, message content and opt-in data are not sold, rented, or used for advertising.

Your choices. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. To have your number and message history deleted from Robert's records, email songjiang@cangxue.org from the address or number concerned.

Revoking access

Google account access can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.
